Blazn Combat Sports was born in South Wales with one simple idea: challenge outdated stereotypes.
I'm a young lad from Wales who's spent years training Muay Thai and MMA across the South Wales fight scene. Throughout that journey, one thing became impossible to ignore—the number of disciplined, dedicated athletes who used cannabis responsibly as part of their lifestyle. At the same time, cannabis culture has become increasingly visible across mainstream sport, with athletes in combat sports and leagues like the NBA helping to change the conversation.
We're also witnessing a broader cultural shift. Across the UK, many younger people are drinking less alcohol than previous generations, with more choosing lifestyles centred around fitness, wellbeing and personal performance. Attitudes towards cannabis are evolving too, yet the old stereotype of the "lazy stoner" still lingers.
Blazn Combat Sports exists to challenge that stereotype.
This brand represents discipline, consistency, respect and hard work. We believe cannabis use and athletic ambition aren't mutually exclusive. Whether you're smashing pads, drilling techniques, lifting weights, running miles or recovering after a tough session, Blazn is for people who put in the work while refusing to be defined by outdated assumptions.
Our inspiration comes from two cultures that have influenced us deeply. The first is Muay Thai—a martial art built on respect, resilience and relentless self-improvement. The second is cannabis culture, which for many represents community, creativity and challenging convention.
Being based in Cardiff also shapes who we are. For generations, Cardiff has been enriched by Caribbean communities, particularly those with Jamaican heritage, whose influence can be seen throughout the city's music, food and culture. Reggae has become part of Cardiff's identity, carrying messages of unity, resilience and self-expression that continue to inspire our brand.
Blazn Combat Sports isn't about promoting excuses or encouraging cannabis use. It's about representing people who train hard, think independently and refuse to be judged by outdated stereotypes. We stand for a new generation that values discipline over image, performance over perception and authenticity over labels.

We blend those timeless influences with the vibrant colours, symbolism and spirit of reggae and Rastafarian-inspired artwork, creating pieces that celebrate two cultures built on resilience, authenticity and self-expression.

In an industry increasingly dominated by generic, mass-produced fightwear, we wanted to create something different. Instead of chasing disposable trends or pumping out the same designs with different logos, Blazn Combat Sports focuses on distinctive pieces inspired by culture, craftsmanship and history.
Our goal isn't to make another pair of Muay Thai shorts.
